DAI Inside Scoop: We visited the Grand Palladium Nov. 15 thru the 18th 2008 for a visit.
This hotel is brand new and an outstanding value for the price. It's features include:

This hotel also features an excellent SPA, well equipped fitness center, a childrens club and many other sports and activities available on property.
The property is large by the standards of Jamaica. A 24 hr. shuttle service is available via the yellow carts that are designed to resemble electric taxi's and the drivers are always on the alert to pick up a passenger if they so desire. A covered walkway also winds thru the property. The beaches are somwhat rocky and water shoes are suggested. The beaches, with the exception of the adult's only area are also somewhat narrow and natural, not developed.
Our overall impression of this hotel is very good. We found the food to be high quality and plentiful. The staff friendly and courteous and the overall vibe to be one of fun and relaxation. It has a "new" feel which we enjoyed and many of our guest enjoyed being among the first visitors. Working out a few bugs on the service side of the house.
The themed restaurants require long pants for men but all are air conditioned. Check in is fast friendly and efficient. Internet available at the lobby and the computer center.
