Those are the words I would use to describe Ikal Del Mar. The resort is now called The Tides Riviera Maya.

Tip: When you turn off the main road onto the local drive that takes you to The Tidesl, don't panic... yes this beautiful resort is hidden down that awful "goat path" of a road. Less than 10 minutes is spent on that road.

Enclosed in your private suite you will find: a plunge pool, outdoor showers, luxurious bathroom and your own hammock all surrounded by lush jungle. The room had amenities I would expect at a top resort including a flat panel tv and top shelf stocked mini bar.
